Due to family celebrations all day Saturday there was insufficient time to post a notification. Continuing celebrations on Sunday meant a Smiler ride was out and therefore we started from the Eureka at 10am and took an early finish for 66 miles.
The group has been created to provide regular, long distance rides for Chester riders who want to work together in a cohesive riding style. This means riding in close formation with each rider taking regular periods on the front - through and off. We expect to complete the 100 miles in 6.5 hours riding time. Some rides will be of shorter duration to take in the Clwyds and the Halkyns.
We usually meet at 8am on Sundays at the County Officers, Plas Newton Lane.
BECOMING A SMILER
Smilers need to be able to communicate with this blog via the 'Post a Comment' feature. The simplest way to do this is by creating a 'Google Account'. A comment is required each week by 6pm Saturday to advise whether you are riding or not. The ride will be confirmed by 7pm Saturday.
